The 'it' Project.
OK, I realize how neglected my little blog has become and for quite some time now I have been trying to come up with a way to revive my bloggy while also pushing myself to get a little more creative in my off hours.  So I have challenged myself to a project, which I am going to try to do for a year (hopefully more), I am calling it the 'it' project (title not the greatest, but also not really the point).  Each week, I need to fill my journal pages using the 5 simple processes in the instructions above, I need to glue, tape, ink, pencil and paint something onto it's pages.  It is pretty easy exercise, but I feel like these I need a simple challenge.  So here i go!

Today's Events...

Well winter is still here...so today started with boots and all the other layers one needs to deal with the weather right now. Thankfully, I believe that the snow banks are finally starting to seep away, they are no longer matching me in height which is very reassuring. Kye and I tried to embrace Saturday's blizzard with an evening stroll to Mother India (roti hot spot). It was a great on the journey there, we laughed and snapped some pics of our adventure, our hats becoming mini snow banks themselves, and making it quite easy to play "pretend to be a mountain" along the side streets. The way back was less enjoyable, mostly due to unfavorable winds, socks squirming to the end of boots, and brain freeze. But eventually we made it home safe and sound, snow drenched and ready for dinner. All in all a good night.
