New Leggings

I can't beleive I have not mentioned this yet, but my good friend from the west side, Ariel KG, and I have started a sketch blog together.

It is an experiment of sorts. We are using monthly themes (sometimes weekly, the rules are not very strict), to anchor ourselves a little, but also to guide our drawings into new directions.

It is like following a bizarre conversation using images rather than words.

So on Friday I had a Surprise visit from my brother, kaz. he is on his reading week. He met me at the Monster Factory, where I showed him how to make buttons, and then we took a big detour home to pick up some delicious dinner a la Bacchus Roti Shop. Kye and I had our standard, chick pea, spinach and squash rotis, but Kaz brooke all the rules and got a giant chicken, squash, spinach and potato roti! It was enormously delicious! Ohhh Bacchus.

We took the roti's home and feasted around the living room table, with our ginger beer's as dessert, and The Worlds Strong Man Competition running on OLN in the background. I love feats of strength!

It was so nice to have a visit with my brother. I really miss him since he has moved to windsor in persuit of more learning. I am so proud of him.

Last night I got another surprise, a message from my sister, who is ocming to visit this week. The awesomeness just won't stop!
