Jumping North-West

the last couple of weeks have been chalked full of green green grass and memories bobbing about in deep deep lake water. We threw a great barbecue for her, which was full of lots of friends and deeelicious foods. Then we piled into a car and headed up to Dorset area for four days of cottage bliss (something I haven't done in years!). It was soooo hard to say good bye to meena again...i keep thinking it will get easier, but it just ain't so. She certainly has a piece of my heart in her hands. Miss you sweets!
After the cottage, it was back to work, but the goodtimes just kept coming. I got a call from a from my friend jen, who had an extra ticket to The Cinderella, Quiet Riot, Ratt, and Firehouse concert down at the docks. Now though I did catch the tail end of this music scene, I was way more into the prince/cyndi lauper pop scene, to be honest I had never really even heard of a couple of those bands...but it sounded like a good time. So jen and I took off on a metal adventure at the waterfront...and a riot it was! Lots of intense ballads, waving hands in the air, lighters lit, and crazy hair. Thanks jen for introducing me to the fire!
This weekend Kyle and I took off up north to grey county to attend some close friends twenty-sixth wedding anniversary (where the outdoor jumping photos' were taken). We played two hours of bocce, and feasted on a swell variety of salads, and then took off exploring Liz's amazing punctuation garden. The next day, Kaurel woke me up early and we took off for a morning run through Flesherton hills, followed by dragging kyle out of bed and heading to the local golf course for a quick three holes of hilarity (none of us were any good!)
where we dodge the threat of giant bass and snapping turtles, and floated about in the beautiful blue waters.
phewf.
all finished.
