Marty is a birthday present for my dear friend Nick.
Happy Birthday Nicholas!
So the cold has finally dissipated. Unfortunately it moved to my head. Yes it is true, i awoke some mornings ago with a head cold starring me in the face. It has turned my nose into a drip drop factory...but that is the only symptom so hooray for not so bad colds.
There has been an abundance of sunshine over the past few days. During my subway trip up to downsview station in the mornings, the light tumbles in through the windows and all over the outside, brightening the concrete and highways, punctuated with motorized sparks rushing over the roads. It makes for a fantastic start.
i had a lovely weekend full of friends and fun. i spent most of my time at the monster factory stiching up hearts and monsters for a window display we are doing for the local Toronto store Propaganda, (which will be full of hearts and monsters).
I also made it out to the Rec Room, a dance night at Clinton's, a night i have been trying to attend for months but keep missing, due to last minute notice. We only stayed for a flash visit, because the booh was a little sicky, but i will be back, the music was amazing.
claire has posted January's month of softies gallery. it is totally amazing, over 150 softies!
also i am really enjoying Kraf-o-la, via tania, tons of wonderful goodies.
and tomorow night is the first stitch n' bitch of 2005. I must get on the booh's new scarf. He has been wearing this grey thing that we found at the bottom of the closet, that looks like a matted ferret. It must go.
