My oh my, the holidays are almost here and so are some of the hilarious late night pictures from one of our crazed monster factory production nights during the One of a Kind show.
This is my sister and I sewing up monsters at around three in the morning on the last Friday night of the One of a Kind show.

Look who didn't make it to five am.
It is quite a relief to be all finished up with the shows, back to concentrating solely on orders for the next bit, and then finally yes finally our vacation! I am zooming home for a delicious home time visit. I think I will have something like five full days to laze around good old flesherton, and visit with family, some old school friends and to fulfill a long over due date with some toboggan hills and pine trees…there is the bestest sledding hill in priceville.
This past weekend in Toronto was a little lame on the weather side, our city could not decide weather or not to snow or rain. So on Friday I got soaked on my trek home…mental note, down jackets, not so good in rain. But I did make it out on Friday night to a group exhibit by a super fantastic collective of young canadian artists (some of whom I am blessed to be on a huggable basis with). The exhibit is called transTokyo, and the work was inspired by the artists experiences in “Japan’s frenetic environment”.
I was totally freaking out over my friend Skye and Ariel’s pieces, since I had seen them on line through photos of the exhibit that they had in Yokohama earlier this year, and it was just so neat to see them here in Toronto, the only thing missing was their sweet little smiles standing beside their work (they are still abroad). But I did get to congratulate alek and angus on a great show, since they are both Toronto based for the moment. I was also blown away by this Reiko’s work, but I was struck down by of fit of shyness and chickened out of introducing myself…this is something I need to work on.
On line adventures…let’s see:
